Garret Wilson ranks number 72 in the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2024

Garret Wilson was voted No. 72 in the Top 100 Players of 2024, by players around the NFL. This is the second consecutive year he made the list after ranking No. 74 in the Top 100 Players of 2023. He had 83 receptions for 1,103 yards 4 touchdowns in 2022, resulting in him winning AP 2022 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 2023 he had 95 receptions for 1,042 yards and 3 touchdowns. His best catch this season was in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. His longest catch was in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, which was 68 yards long.

These are the quarterbacks that threw passes to him last season. Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle, Trevor Siemian. Just horrendous QBs. It’s a miracle that he was able to have more than 1,000 yards with these types of passers. By the way, these three quarterbacks are no longer with the Jets. Zach was traded to the Denver Broncos for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Boyle signed with the Houston Texans to backup C.J. Stroud and Siemian is a free agent who still has not been signed. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Garret has the talent to make the contested catch and the speed to score a touchdown from anywhere on the football field. Now that Gang Green has a legitimate quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, Wilson will be able to showcase his talent and make even more big plays.

“He’s hard to throw to, honestly — he’s so damn fast. He’s just so dynamic because he can go from zero to full speed so quickly, and he can look like he’s just kind of like gliding out there because he’s moving so fast. It’s a gift. He has all the skill sets; he’s as dynamic as I’ve ever been around. He’s got all the makings of a star receiver,” said Rodgers.
